As a California Department of Real Estate Licensed Broker and a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator by the State of California. Guy belongs to a select group of real estate professionals approved by the California Real Estate Commissioner to perform a special dual service of real estate brokerage and financing in all areas of the real estate industry. Since 1985, he has been serving all cities and communities of Southern California.
Beginning in 1986, Guy received his Real Estate Salesperson license from the State of California and began originating real estate loans. 1994 he was approved by the California Department of Real Estate and Commissioner for a Broker License and began to perform that dual service of real estate brokerage and lending services. In 1997, he had a team of real estate agents and loan originators and opened a branch office for Realty Executives and Funders Mortgage in Northridge, California. As his office grew, a Luxury real estate company opportunity was offered, and in 1999, Guy started the Fred Sands Estate franchise with just five agents.
In 2006, Guy became a Sotheby's International Realty Affiliate Office, and by the time he sold/merged this company in 2009 to Coldwell Banker, his Sotheby's International Realty Office had over 150 agents in the organization. His real estate company included mortgage, escrow, estates, commercial, relocation, and property management divisions, and it had grown to be ranked the number three office in its marketplace.
As past President of Fred Sands Affiliates, Guy worked alongside Mr. Fred Sands in developing and managing more than 20 remaining franchise offices after their acquisition by Coldwell Banker in 2001. In addition, he was a Regional Developer for two national real estate franchises, Nextage Realty and RealtyONEGroup, where he was responsible for developing and managing multiple real estate offices. And he was the Executive Vice-President of a group that formed Belaria Realty.
Being an owner of Luxury brands Fred Sands Estates and Sotheby's International Realty and a Broker Associate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Realty Executives Collection, and RealtyONEGroup | ONELuxe, Guy is well versed in Luxury real estate.
He has also opened and managed branch offices for Realty Executives, RealtyONEGroup, and Funder's Mortgage Corporation of America, giving him experience in traditional real estate service models.
